Hello and thanks for checking out my ad! I am a licensed massage therapist and have been doing bodywork for over a decade. My main modalities are Thai and Swedish, and I combine them to offer a unique style to my clients. I primarily work on a comfortable mat on the floor (massage table also available if that's your preference), and I mix a good deal of stretching and mobility work into the massage along with the direct manual

John offers a unique massage experience that sets him apart from the other listings here. John uses his entire body to stretch and knead for maximum relief and relaxation. I appreciated his suggestion at the beginning to just let him take the lead and not try to “assist” with the stretches, which made it easier to unwind and fully focus on letting go. This isn’t the kind of massage you can fake, and John’s knowledge and skill with bodywork is specific and deep. His demeanor is warm and welcoming, which also elevated the experience. Just an all around terrific masseur and massage that I look forward to repeating again soon.

I had a wonderful visit with John yesterday that left me totally relaxed and excited to return. He’s easy to chat with and goes over the experience with you to understand your comfort level and target areas for the massage. This was my first Thai massage on a mat and I ended up enjoying it more than I expected. After the massage he let me soak everything in with hot towels which was a nice extra touch. Hoping to visit him again soon!

I'm so glad I set up an appointment with John. He was to communicate with and gave one of the most memorable massages I've had in a while. He made me feel extremely comfortable, and I can't wait to feel his hands again soon.

Absolutely first-rate. I say this with great confidence because I have had dozens of Thai massages in both Thailand and the major capitals of Europe besides the USA. John is a super nice, super gentle person with an exceptionally soothing disposition. His hands are warm as his touch ioverall. He is excellent at sensing when to apply more or less pressure. He has worked out a uniquely personal style that shows you how genuinely devoted he is both to his art and his clients. I feel I won't find 2 like him, so I will just keep calling him. Very effective at relaxing your whole body; no kinks left and all tension resolves into bliss.
I had the message while John was visiting in Madison, Wi but I will surely call on him in NYC as well whenever I am there.
