Overview

Every-body’s first language is Touch.
My massage is an intuitive blend of Swedish, Shiatsu, Tui Na, and Deep Tissue, but the most important thing is our connection. I take my time to listen to your body and move wherever and however it feels good to connect; this may include flowing, kneading, shaking, and tapping, or slowing down and settling into an area which is in need of deeper contact. I tend to work unrushed and unforced, allowing the body... to blossom at its own pace rather than fighting to pry it open. I may also offer verbal guidance for your breath and awareness to invite you to participate in the healing process. This work is for humans who want more than to be merely touched; it’s for people who want to be truly felt.

I am honored to be serving Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area. I welcome any age, race, shape, sexual orientation, or gender identity. This space is gay, straight, and LGBTQ+ friendly. May we meet with openness and authenticity.

I am a HHP with over 1,000 hours of education.

I chose Josiah because he looked kind. I had a good feeling from the start the massage was going to be a good one. He greeted me with a warm and friendly smile. Then, we sat and connected about why I was there and what the massage entails. I felt like he really listened to my needs and expectations. The massage was amazing! Josiah made me melt into the table. It was a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The next day, my body felt like I got work done to it, and that's a good thing because I needed it. I still feel a bit 'floaty' from the work he did. Thank you Josiah for your kindness, warmth, and great massage.
