I have gotten several massages from Devin. If you are looking for a deep tissue massage, he gives an exceptional one. He checks with you throughout to make sure the pressure is right, not too deep, or too light for your liking (if you like deep pressure, he is the man). After he has gotten your muscles worked out, he does some body stretching and twisting, getting you really loosened up.

He is my “go to guy” when I am experiencing pain that will notgo away no matter how much stretching, cracking, twisting I do. Last year I was having neck issues, another masseur I went to said he could probably make it feel better, he didn’t. I went to Devin, and he gave me a full body massage, but really spent a good amount of time on my neck and pin pointing where the pain was. I was able to move my neck again when I left, and within a day or two, there was no more lingering pain. Recently I had a similar situation with my back, right between the shoulder blades, something was pinched in there and caused the whole back to tighten and seize. No amount of my stretching or twisting etc., would help it subside. Once again, I reached out to Devin and he got me in on a Sunday and got me fixed up.

This guy has mad skills, you need to try him out.

He is very thorough and listens before the massage for you to voice out any concern that needs to be addressed. Devin offers a complete relaxation experience. The space is quiet, well appointed and comfortable. Devin spent time getting to know me, my needs and requests, expectations and answered any questions. I immediately felt relaxed and valued, both as a client and as a person.

I was offered aromatherapy (I chose lavender) and asked if I had any body movement issues before the massage began. Devin asked a few times during the massage about appropriate pressure and movement as this was my initial experience with his work, and everything was perfect.

The massage itself was fluid and intuitive. Devin has extremely strong hands, but he has learned to use that strength in a way that soothes and relaxes. Several times I entered that blissful area between states of consciousness that can only be achieved in an attitude of complete relaxation.

Because I suffer from sciatica occasionally, Devin suggested some pretty aggressive stretching. He put me in positions I’ve never contemplated before, but with each movement and technique, I could feel things open up and relax. The areas that were particularly tight were massaged and stretched. Devin clearly has an understanding not only of anatomy, but of body mechanics and trigger points.

I left feeling renewed, relaxed and reinvigorated.
