Healing Bodywork by Santiago

I have a chronic nerve condition that cause my muscles to be tight all of the time and I need massages to help manage this. I just moved to Atlanta and was nervous about finding someone who would be able to provide me with the level of therapy I needed.

I found Rodiney and set my appointment, always a bit skeptical after having many years of experience as a client.

When we were finished I told Rodiney something I never imagined I would say. “After having over 250 massages in my life, you are the best massage therapist I have ever had.” I have had my share of exceptional therapists, so I was genuinely surprised.

Why? He has a gift for touch, something I have come to learn that a person has or they don’t. It was also clear that he could read my body and adjust accordingly, something all great therapist must be able to do. He also was focused and committed through each moment of the massage. Even good therapist often lose focus throughout a massage. Those are the technical reason.

On a human level, it is clear through his actions that he cares about you and wants healing in your body and your heart. He is warm, gentle, grounded, and clearly guides you through the experience.

This massage was totally different, it was an experience I really didn’t know I needed. I weight train 6 days a week and really needed something that was going to target that soreness/ physical tension that comes with the territory I found something much more. I received a complete mind and body experience. The massage was excellent, the Gua-sha thorough and to top it all off I was taken through some breath-work, which is a game changer, a mini sound-bath, which if you have no idea what it is, relaxes your mind like nothing else taking you on a complete journey. Atmosphere is clean, relaxing, and Rodiney really has that calming energy. Whatever stress you came in with definitely disappears during that time. Highly recommend. Vitor Torres

I had my first massage with Santiago today. We chatted on the phone for a bit to coordinate scheduling and massage requests. When I arrived, he greeted me with so much warmth. The massage was phenomenal. His strokes were perfect and he was very methodical and symmetric with his process. He is super easy to talk to and had some amazing and deep convos. We learned alot about each other and basically became best friends 20 min into the massage. Overall he is a great guy and he is AMAZING at what he does!!! I will definitely be back! John
